«Kazcentre for HCS» and «Bioworks Verfahrenstechnik GmbH» (Germany) have signed a memorandum of cooperation

As part of implementing the state program for the modernization and development of housing and communal services in Kazakhstan, the JSC "Kazakhstan Center for Modernization and Development of Housing and Communal Services" (Kazcentre for HCS), represented by Chairman of the Board Adilkhan Umerbaev, and "Bioworks Verfahrenstechnik GmbH," represented by CEO Markus Volmer, concluded a Memorandum of Cooperation. Bioworks, recognized as an expert in developing and constructing water supply and wastewater treatment facilities, brings its advanced technologies into this collaboration. A key component in their portfolio is the OXIRISE aeration technology with a system for flushing and servicing aerators. This system, developed by Bioworks, combines energy saving, sustainability, and ease of maintenance. The OXIRISE system is based on the principle of saving energy and costs through the use of fine bubble aeration. It has successfully undergone numerous tests at active sludge stations and aerated ponds. The high-efficiency fine bubble aerator, OXIWORKS, provides high oxygen transfer rates, outperforming the productivity of large air bubbles. Under the Memorandum, the parties expressed their intention to cooperate in good faith and use their experience and expertise to ensure the success of joint projects, including those within the framework of public-private partnerships (PPP). Key points of the agreement include exchanging information for rapid project preparation, developing environmentally and economically sustainable solutions in accordance with local standards, and actively interacting with stakeholders. The CEO of Bioworks, M. Volmer, highlighted the prospects for cooperation in developing innovative solutions that contribute to the sustainable development of the water supply and wastewater sector in Kazakhstan. In turn, the Chairman of the Board of JSC "Kazcentre for HCS" A. Umerbaev, expressed confidence that the partnership with Bioworks will bring significant benefits and allow for the implementation of key projects aimed at improving the quality of life for citizens and preserving the environment.
