KANAT SHARLAPAEV PARTICIPATED IN THE OPENING OF THE PDAC-2024 CONFERENCE IN CANADA

The Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kanat Sharlapaev, during his working visit to Canada, participated in the solemn opening ceremony of the PDAC-2024 conference, a globally recognized event in the exploration and mining industry, currently taking place in Toronto.

The Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) is focused on supporting the competitiveness, sustainability, and development of the mining sector. As an organization dedicated to mineral exploration and development, with a rich history that began in the 1930s, PDAC aims to achieve improvements in social and economic conditions, and to bring positive changes to the industry in Canada, including organizing an international conference.

The PDAC conference has gathered experts, investors, and representatives from leading mining companies around the world to discuss innovations, sustainable development, and future industry trends.

Kanat Sharlapaev met with global mining industry leaders, including the CEO of Rio Tinto and the head of the World Bank's mining division, to discuss opportunities for cooperation and the implementation of advanced technologies in Kazakhstan.

The Minister visited the exhibition stands of Chile, Argentina, and Canada, acquainting himself with the latest achievements and developments, highlighting the mutual interest and potential for joint projects.

Kazakhstan's participation in the international PDAC-2024 conference strengthens its reputation as an important player on the global mineral market and opens new horizons for cooperation, innovation, and attracting investments into the domestic mining industry.
