Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Madi Takiev met with the Director, Head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (hereinafter – EBRD) for Kazakhstan Huseyin Ozkhan

Today, the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Madi Takiev met with the Director, Head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (hereinafter – EBRD) for Kazakhstan Huseyin Ozkhan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of promising projects and the further development of bilateral relations.

Madi Takiev noted that Kazakhstan highly appreciates cooperation with the EBRD and expressed readiness to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation.

We are open to productive work with the EBRD on the implementation of projects in the fields of green energy, utilities, renewable energy development and private business. Our cooperation can be brought to a qualitatively new level," the head of the Ministry noted.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to intensify joint work within the framework of high-quality implementation of current projects and elaboration of new areas of strategic partnership.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Head of Kazakhstan Askar Namazbaev and Deputy Director, Senior Banker of the EBRD Bakhtiyor Faiziev.
