«The Professional Audit Council begins its activity in Kazakhstan»

On July 6, 2021, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on auditing” came into force, which provides for the establishment of a professional audit council.

On October 5, 2021, the professional council was established, which included the Quality Control Committee and Qualification Commission.

Internal documents of these executive bodies are being worked out within the framework of meetings in videoconference mode.

The meetings were attended by all interested parties, including representatives of the academic community, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, AIFC, KASE and the audit community.

Currently, work is continuing on the further formation of the trade union council.
