Kazakh Ambassador Meets with South African Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Technology

Pretoria, May 20, 2021 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to South Africa Kanat Tumysh met with the host country’s Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Technology Sharon Pinky Kekana.Member of Parliament, she also serves as Secretary-General of the Pan-African Women Organisation (PAWO).

The parties exchanged views, professional experiences and expertise on relevant topics, including growing importance of digital transformation and development of IT and their role in empowering youth and women.

They agreed to work together towards exchanges of experiences between Kazakhstan and South Africa in development of digital platforms, as well as in the fields of cyber-security and protection of digital privacy of citizens.
