Kazakhstan and Moldova Discussed Current Issues of Bilateral Cooperation

Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Moldova Almat Aidarbekov met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Vasile Tofan.

The sides exchanged views on current issues of Kazakh-Moldovan relations and prospects for their further development.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan congratulated Vasile Tofan on his appointment as Prime Minister and wished him success in his state service.

The Prime Minister of Moldova expressed readiness to further expand bilateral ties, primarily in the trade, economic and investment spheres, noting significant potential for enhancing practical cooperation. In this regard, the importance of intensifying contacts between the business communities of the two countries and implementing joint projects was emphasized.

The Ambassador briefed the Prime Minister on the ongoing political transformations in Kazakhstan, including the entry into force of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the elections to the Kurultai.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides emphasized the importance of maintaining regular political dialogue and further advancing bilateral relations through practical cooperation.
