Kazakh-Serbian Economic Cooperation Discussed in Belgrade

Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Serbia Madi Atamkulov met with
Nenad Popović, Minister for the Development of International Economic Cooperation of the Republic of Serbia.

During the meeting, the parties focused on the implementation of agreements reached following the official visit of Serbian President A. Vučić to Astana (February 26–27, 2026).

Ambassador Atamkulov briefed his counterpart on the progress made in this area. He noted the new broad prospects for cooperation opened up by the implementation of the instructions of the heads of the two states.

In turn, Minister Popović reaffirmed the Serbian side’s firm commitment to implementing all agreements and its readiness to provide the necessary support for the further deepening of bilateral economic cooperation.

Following the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged specific plans for the coming period aimed at giving additional impetus to the dynamic development of Kazakh-Serbian bilateral relations.
