Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Madiyar Menilbekov held negotiations with the Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization Deemah Al Yahya.
During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on current global trends in digital transformation and also considered the possibilities of implementing joint initiatives in the field of digitalization.
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan emphasized the importance of further strengthening international cooperation aimed at accelerating technological progress and innovation, and expressed readiness for active engagement with the Digital Cooperation Organization.
In turn, the Secretary-General of the Organization expressed interest in developing cooperation with Kazakhstan, noting the country’s active role in advancing the digital agenda.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue and to explore promising areas of cooperation.
The Digital Cooperation Organization is an international intergovernmental organization established on November 26, 2020, in Riyadh. The Organization promotes international cooperation in the digital sphere and engages with representatives of the private sector, international organizations, NGOs, and civil society in order to foster a more inclusive digital transformation and advance the development of digital industries.
