Constitutional Reforms And Cooperation in Public Administration in Focus of the Kazakh-Finnish Dialogue

Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Finland Azamat Abdraimov met with the CEO of the HAUS Finnish Institute of Public Management, Kyösti Väkeväinen.

During the meeting, the Kazakh diplomat informed the Finnish side about the ongoing reforms being consistently implemented in Kazakhstan, as well as the upcoming nationwide referendum scheduled for March 15, 2026, on the draft of the country’s new Constitution.

For his part, K.Väkeväinen highly appreciated the political transformations taking place in Kazakhstan, noting the country’s significant progress, particularly in digitalization of public services and the introduction of modern solutions in public administration.

The parties also discussed in detail the prospects for developing cooperation in improving public administration systems, as well as issues related to digital transformation, the development of new technologies, and the implementation of artificial intelligence solutions.

Special attention was given to the upcoming «GOVHR FORUM 2.0: People. Prospect. Public Value in the Age of AI and Digital Transformation», which will take place on June 19, 2026 in Astana.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further developing constructive dialogue and expanding cooperation in the fields of public administration and digital innovation.
