Kazakhstan and New Zealand Explore New Horizons of Partnership

Wellington, November 3, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to New Zealand Askar Kuttykadam met with New Zealand’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Winston Peters in the capital of New Zealand.

During the meeting, the Ambassador briefed the New Zealand side on current trends in Kazakhstan’s socio-economic and political development, as well as the main priorities of the country’s foreign policy.

The parties exchanged views on the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, noting the significant potential for its further expansion in the trade, economic, investment, educational, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Particular attention was paid to issues of cooperation within international organizations, as well as to the discussion of current topics on the international agenda that are of mutual interest.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to maintain regular working dialogue and to promptly exchange proposals.
