Dimash Qudaibergen Meets with Compatriots in Mexico

Mexico City, October 9, 2025 – World-renowned performer Dimash Qudaibergen paid a visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Mexico City where he was warmly received by the representatives of the Kazakh diaspora.

D.Qudaibergen arrived in Mexico City for concerts held on October 8 and 10, this year. The singer’s performances attracted more than 25000 spectators and became a major event for his fans in Latin America.  During the tour, the artist – who also serves as a Goodwill Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, actively promoted Kazakhstan’s culture and history in the region.

An important part of the Embassy visit was the promotion of Kazakh traditions and culture. D.Qudaibergen made the opening move in a game of Togyzkumalak (a traditional Kazakh board game) together with Ambassador Almurat Turganbekov and performed a “Tusaukeser” ceremony for one-year-old Halid Yildyz, blessing the child for a bright future.

Furthermore, in his capacity as a Goodwill Ambassador of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), D.Qudaibergen also addressed the devastating consequences of war and called for peace, mutual understanding and joint efforts to prevent conflict and promote stability.

At the end of the visit fans presented numerous souvenirs and traditional treats to the singer, his family and his team as tokens of deep appreciation.
