Skopje, September 30, 2025 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of North Macedonia Satybaldy Burshakov met with the leadership and experts of the INOVA Agency for Innovation, Scientific and Technological Development and Entrepreneurship in Skopje.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the political and economic reforms being carried out in our country, the investment potential of Kazakhstan, priority areas for the development of the economies of the two countries, as well as the possibility of implementing joint projects in the innovation sector.
The Ambassador stressed Kazakhstan's desire to strengthen cooperation in the fields of economy, innovation, digitalization and sustainable development, expressing interest in expanding the dialogue with the business community of North Macedonia.
Kazakh diplomat informed about the main provisions of the State-to-the-Nation Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, dated September 8, 2025. Burshakov noted that the conceptual framework of the new address was the idea of deep digital transformation of the country, diversification and digitalization of the economy, its large-scale structural modernization, as well as the creation of a solid scientific and legislative framework for economic and political reforms.
Ambassador Burshakov stated that the most important strategic task by the President Tokayev is the Kazakhstan's transformation into a full-fledged digital country over the next three years. To this end, the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development has been established to coordinate efforts in this domain.
The Agency's leadership positively assessed the achievements of our country in the field of digitalization and expressed interest in continuing close cooperation in the field of innovation, digitalization and e-government.
