Kazakhstan President’s State of the Nation Address Discussed in Ankara

Ankara, September 25, 2025 – The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Türkiye hosted a briefing, dedicated to the Address by the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev titled “Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Solutions through Digital Transformation”.

The event was joined by the experts, political scientists, representatives of local administration, business, and local media.

Ambassador Yerkebulan Sapiyev presented the key directions of the Address, such as digitalization, the introduction of artificial intelligence, investment, and the development of agriculture. The President's statement in the Address regarding his visit to Türkiye, focusing on the development of expanded high-level strategic cooperation between the two countries was highlighted.

Professor Maksut Coşkun, Vice-Rector of İstinye University, highlighting the history of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Türkiye and stated that the initiatives in the Address open up new opportunities to strengthen the ties between our countries.

The experts highly praised the President’s innovative initiatives and noted the special significance of the instructions for the full-scale implementation of artificial intelligence. They emphasized the importance of introducing the Digital Code to legally formalize digitalization efforts.

The representatives of the business expressed the opinion that the initiatives in the Address concerning the protection of investors' rights will open the way for increased investment into the country. Political scientists stated that President Tokayev's initiative in the Address to submit the transition of Parliament to a unicameral system for public discussion is an indicator of a truly democratic state.

In conclusion, the guests described the Address as comprehensive and precise, expressing confidence that the issues raised will be implemented quickly.
