Issues of Strengthening Cooperation in the Legal Sphere Discussed in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, September 24, 2025 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Arab Emirates, Rauan Zhumabek held a meeting with the Attorney General of the UAE, Hamad Al Shamsi.

During the meeting the parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the relevant institutions in order to enhance the effectiveness of mutual interaction on the execution of extradition requests and the provision of legal assistance.

The Kazakh diplomat underlined the special role of the UAE Attorney General’s Office as the key authority responsible for ensuring legality in handling extradition and mutual legal assistance requests in criminal matters, and expressed gratitude to Mr. Al Shamsi for his continued support.

In turn, Mr. Al Shamsi emphasized his readiness to provide assistance to the Kazakh side and confirmed his interest in further strengthening cooperation.
