The Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was Discussed in Amman

Amman, September 23, 2025 – A roundtable discussion with representatives of leading Jordanian media and the expert community, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, took place in Amman.

Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Jordan, H.E. Mr.Talgat Shaldanbay, presented the main points of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's Address to the People of Kazakhstan entitled «Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Solutions through Digital Transformation», emphasizing the country's commitment to building a «Fair, Strong and Digital Kazakhstan».

The Ambassador noted that the Address has become a strategic document defining key development guidelines in the era of digitalization and global challenges. Particular attention was paid to the establishment of the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, the launch of a new investment cycle, strengthening Kazakhstan's transport and logistics potential, measures to modernize the social and educational sectors, as well as initiatives to transition to a unicameral Parliament and build nuclear power plants. These and other key development issues of the country attracted particular interest from the Jordanian participants.

During the meeting, the historic nature of the reciprocal visits of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Amman and King Abdullah II to Astana in 2025, which opened new prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation, was also noted.

The event was held in an atmosphere of open and constructive dialogue. Representatives of Jordanian media expressed strong interest in the reforms and initiatives of the President of Kazakhstan, noting the importance of such meetings for strengthening mutual understanding and expanding information cooperation between the two countries.

Following the event, participants were presented with books and informational materials about Kazakhstan.
