Members of the Croatian Parliament have been Acquainted with the Address of the President of Kazakhstan

Zagreb, September 23, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Croatia Daulet Batrashev held a meeting with the members of the Interparliamentary friendship group Croatia - Kazakhstan, where the recent Address of the President to the people of Kazakhstan was discussed.

The Kazakh diplomat provided information on a wide range of issues, with a focus on the key reforms and tasks of the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the fields of further digitalization and innovation development, economy diversification and increase of the country's investment attractiveness, development of transport and energy sectors, reform of political system, including initiative of creating one chamber Parliament.

The members of the friendship group highly appreciated the Address of the Head of State and expressed their support for the measures being taken in Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the prospects for deepening inter-parliamentary dialogue were also discussed, and an agreement to organize a visit of deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Zagreb in the first half of 2026 was reached.

The interlocutors emphasized the importance of the upcoming visit for the development and strengthening of parliamentary dialogue in all areas of politics, economics, and the cultural and humanitarian sphere.
