Prospects for the Development of Kazakhstan-Slovakia Cooperation Discussed in Bratislava

Bratislava, September 12, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Slovakia, Zhanna Saginova met with the Advisor to the President of the Slovak Republic for Foreign Affairs and International Policy, Jan Kubiš.

During the meeting, the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations were discussed, along with issues of cooperation between the two countries within the framework of participation in the work of international organizations.

Ambassador Saginova informed her counterpart on the implementation progress of the agreements reached during the official visit of the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Robert Fico to Kazakhstan in June 2025. The importance of bilateral cooperation was emphasized in the areas of energy, agriculture and water management, transport and logistics, digitalization, education and culture, tourism, and sports.

Presidential Advisor was also acquainted with the main points of President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s State-of-the-Nation Address entitled “Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Tasks and Their Solutions through Digital Transformation.”

Advisor Kubiš highly praised the comprehensive reforms aimed at Kazakhstan’s sustainable development and expressed Slovakia’s readiness to contribute to the further strengthening of the multifaceted partnership with Kazakhstan.
