Kazakhstan and Oman Partner to Advance Diplomatic Education

Muscat, September 11, 2025 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Sultanate of Oman Aidarbek Tumatov, met with the Ambassador Sheikh Humaid Almaani, Head of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman.

During the meeting, the Ambassador highlighted the current state of Kazakhstan – Oman relations, recent progress in their development, and key visits planned for 2025. The parties discussed in detail the most promising areas of trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian, transport and logistics cooperation. Also the existing significant potential for further joint work was emphasized. Humaid Almaani was informed on the main points of the Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s recent annual Address to the people of Kazakhstan.

The Omani side was invited to engage in cooperation and share best practices in the professional training of diplomatic service personnel, as well as to consider signing a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Institute of Diplomacy of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Welcoming these initiatives, Humaid Almaani expressed his willingness to receive Kazakhstani experts and lecturers, as well as to hold multi-format joint seminars.
