Podgorica, September 11, 2025 – The Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Montenegro Gabiden Temirbek met with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Perisa Kastratovic.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations, including the enhancement of political dialogue, trade and economic ties, as well as the cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
The Consul General briefed his counterpart on the main provisions of the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, titled “Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Tasks and Their Solutions through Digital Transformation”, delivered on September 8, 2025. In turn, Mr. Kastratovic emphasized the significance of the ongoing reforms in Kazakhstan.
The sides reaffirmed mutual intend to further cooperation on issues of common interest, including enhancing contacts between the two countries, chambers of commerce, as well as relevant institutions and organizations, and promoting reciprocal visits at various levels. It was noted that education, tourism, energy, and agriculture represent promising areas of cooperation.
As an outcome of the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in maintaining an active dialogue and agreed on concrete steps to further expand bilateral cooperation.
