Kazakhstan and Mongolia Intend to Enhance Cooperation in the Field of Transport

Ulaanbaatar, August 21, 2025 – A meeting was held between the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Mongolia Almas Seitakynov and the Minister of Transport and Roads of Mongolia Delgersaikhan Borkhu.

During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for the development of cooperation in the fields of road, air, and rail transport. It was emphasized that the intensification of interaction in the transport sector is of particular importance for expanding cooperation in tourism, trade, and people-to-people exchanges.

Special attention was given to issues of developing transport and logistics infrastructure, enhancing transit potential, and increasing the volume of bilateral freight transportation.

As a result of the meeting, the parties reached a common understanding on the need to further deepen cooperation in the field of transport, as well as to support the implementation of specific initiatives and projects in this area.
