Kazakh Tazy Presented for the First Time at the World Dog Show in Helsinki

Helsinki, August 7-10, 2025 – The World Dog Show 2025 is taking place, featuring the first official presentation of the Kazakh Tazy.

The Kazakh national breed is represented by eight Kazakh Tazy dogs, selected according to strict criteria and best prepared for international competitions.

During the exhibition, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Finland, together with the Union of Cynologists of Kazakhstan, is hosting Kazakh Culture Days, which have become an important part of the event’s cultural program. The national booth presents comprehensive information about the Kazakh Tazy – its historical origins, distinctive features and its significance as an element of Kazakhstan’s cultural heritage.

Visitors also have the opportunity to explore beautifully designed brochures, informational materials and video presentations that reveal the richness of Kazakhstan’s culture, unique customs and nature. Special interest is shown in the national treats and elements of Kazakh everyday life presented in the hospitality zone, where everyone has the opportunity to learn more about the lifestyle and traditional values of the country.
