Issues of Cooperation in the Fields of Youth and Sports was Discussed in Cairo

Cairo, August 5, 2025 – The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Egypt, Askar Zhengis held a meeting with the Minister of Youth and Sports of Egypt Ashraf Sobhi.

During the meeting Ambassador Zhengis, had a thorough exchange of views on the issues of relations between the two countries in the field of youth and sports and having discussed its current state and future prospects, made a number of proposals to enhance bilateral cooperation.

In turn, Minister Sobhi proposed organizing short-term special internships in various fields aimed at supporting the youth and athletes of the two countries in areas of mutual interest related to the development of cooperation in the youth and sports fields. He also expressed readiness to hold joint events with the Kazakh side within the framework of the National Youth and Sports Strategy of Egypt.

In addition, the interlocutors also discussed in detail the process of preparing drafts of relevant bilateral memorandums between the government agencies of Kazakhstan and Egypt aimed at developing cooperation in the field of youth and sports.
