Warsaw, July 15, 2025 –Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Poland Nurlan Zhalgasbayev met with Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic of Poland Jacek Czerniak.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the agro-industrial sector.
The Kazakh diplomat emphasized the importance of Poland as a key partner for Kazakhstan within the European Union, as well as the high level of Poland’s agro-industrial complex.
The main directions of Kazakhstan's agricultural policy were presented, including the sustainable growth of grain and flour exports, as well as the advantages of implementing projects for the production of organic food in Kazakhstan.
The Polish official confirmed his country's interest in developing cooperation with Kazakhstan, which is considered a strategic partner of Poland in Central Asia.
Deputy Minister Chernyak highly appreciated the potential of Kazakhstan's agro-industrial sector and expressed his readiness to continue the dialogue on topical issues, including the transfer of agricultural technologies, the development of trade, and the participation of Polish businesses in investment projects in Kazakhstan.
The Kazakh side presented specific areas for investment cooperation: processing of grain, oilseeds, sugar beets, potatoes, fruits, meat, and dairy products, as well as the production of baby food. Special attention was given to the potential for cattle feedlot development and meat exports to neighboring markets.
At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in maintaining dialogue and agreed to continue consultations on specific areas of agro-industrial cooperation.
