Strengthening of Political Dialogue Between Kazakhstan and Liechtenstein Discussed in Vaduz

Vaduz, 11 July 2025 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Swiss Confederation and concurrently to the Principality of Liechtenstein Kairat Sarzhanov held meetings with the leadership of a number of state bodies of the Principality.

During the talks with the President of the Landtag (Parliament) of Liechtenstein Manfred Kaufmann, the parties discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries in both bilateral and multilateral formats. It was noted that the beginning of a new parliamentary legislature in Liechtenstein opens up additional opportunities for intensifying inter-parliamentary contacts.

In addition, the Kazakh diplomat held a meeting with the Director of the Bureau of Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Liechtenstein, Ambassador Martin Frick. The parties exchanged views on current issues of bilateral cooperation, including the organization of official visits and the expansion of the legal framework.

The interlocutors confirmed mutual interest in developing a constructive partnership, emphasizing the potential for taking the political dialogue between the countries to a qualitatively new level.
