Riyadh, June 25, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia Madiyar Menilbekov met with Deputy Minister of Investment of the KSA Faris AlQarni.
During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the trade, economic and investment spheres.
Ambassador Menilbekov informed about the new priorities and directions of our country's policy on further diversification of the economy, announced by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the 37th plenary session of the Foreign Investors Council. He also mentioned about the work carried out by the Government to create favorable conditions for the transparent activities of foreign investors in the country, and about the adopted legislative and other regulatory acts aimed at liberalizing the visa regime, protecting the rights of investors, reducing administrative barriers, etc.
The Kazakh diplomat called for intensifying the activities of the Kazakh-Saudi Business Council, establishing an exchange of visits by businessmen from the two countries to establish direct contacts between them for substantive discussions of trade and investment issues and projects of mutual interest.
Deputy Minister Al Qarni expressed his readiness to support any proposals from the Kazakh side to expand cooperation between the business circles of the two countries.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to make joint efforts at various levels, including by organizing mutual visits and thematic events, such as business seminars and B2B, B2G meetings.
