Kazakhstan and Albania Strengthen Cultural Cooperation

Tirana, June 20, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Albania Iskander Aisariyev held a meeting with the Acting Mayor of Tirana, Keti Luarasi.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the present status and future prospects of cooperation between the capitals of Kazakhstan and Albania. Particular attention was paid to the role of cultural and humanitarian ties in strengthening bilateral relations.

The sides explored the possibility of organizing cultural events in Tirana with the participation of the Kazakh party, including public initiatives aimed at promoting folk art, music, cinema, and national traditions.

Ambassador Aisariyev highlighted the potential of such initiatives to promote cultural dialogue and mutual understanding, expressing confidence that Kazakhstan’s involvement would confer a high level of international recognition on the events. In response, Acting Mayor Luarasi expressed her support for the proposals and confirmed the municipality’s readiness to cooperate on their practical implementation.

Additionally, the two sides discussed several other initiatives, including the development of cultural infrastructure, educational programs, film screenings, symbolic representations of Kazakhstan in the urban landscape of Tirana, and collaboration with municipal services.
