Kazakhstan and Serbia Discussed Co-Operation in the Field of Public Service

Belgrade, June 11, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Serbia Madi Atamkulov discussed with the Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government of Serbia Snežana Paunović the expansion of bilateral cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of public service and administration.

The Ambassador handed the minister an official invitation to participate in the “GovHR Forum: New Systems, Modern Services, and Innovative Solutions”, which will be held in Astana on 20 June 2025. The Kazakh diplomat emphasized the country's interest in developing partnerships and sharing experience in the use of modern digital solutions to improve the efficiency of governance and the quality of public services.

In addition, during the meeting they discussed opportunities and prospects for the introduction of Kazakh technologies in the field of digitalisation, including in the field of personnel management and document management. Ambassador Atamkulov also proposed to consider the establishment of co-operation with the Regional Hub in the field of public service, located in Astana, which could contribute to the development of interstate exchange of practices and innovations.

Minister Paunović expressed interest in further development of co-operation and confirmed the intention of the Serbian side to participate in the forum in Astana. She noted the importance of sharing experience in the field of digitalization to improve the efficiency of public institutions of both countries.
