Cooperation in Sports and Tourism in the Spotlight of the Kazakh-Pakistani Agenda

Islamabad, June 4, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan Yerzhan Kistafin met with the Honorable Federal Secretary (First Deputy Minister) of Inter-Provincial Coordination of Pakistan, Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the development of cooperation in the field of tourism and sports. Ambassador Kistafin, informed the main outcomes of the 13th Session of the Joint Kazakhstan-Pakistan Intergovernmental Commission, which was held on April this year in Islamabad.

Special attention was paid to the signed MoU in the field of sports, as well as agreements reached on the development of cooperation between sports federations and tour operators of the two countries.

In addition, the sides also discussed the development of cooperation in the field of education, in particular between higher education institutions.

The Federal Secretary stressed the significant potential for increasing cooperation between Kazakhstan and Pakistan in the field of culture and humanitarian.

At the end of the meeting, the Federal Secretary expressed support for the above-mentioned plans and readiness to provide the necessary assistance from the Ministry.
