Athens, June 4, 2025 – A virtual meeting was held between the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Hellenic Republic, Timur Sultangozhin, and the President of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), Serhat Köksal.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for developing cooperation, which is of mutual interest, particularly in the context of Kazakhstan’s efforts to strengthen economic ties with the Black Sea region.
Ambassador Sultangozhin emphasized Kazakhstan's interest in enhancing contacts with the Bank and expressed readiness to provide comprehensive support to initiatives aimed at strengthening economic relations between Kazakhstan and the BSTDB member states.
For his part, President Köksal confirmed his openness to dialogue and expressed interest in considering concrete project proposals that may contribute to strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation with Kazakhstan within the framework of the Bank’s mandate.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain active working contacts and regular information exchange on priority areas of cooperation, with the aim of developing specific mechanisms and formats of interaction.
