Helsinki, May 30, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Finland Azamat Abdraimov met with Director of the Alexander Institute Markku Kangaspuro.
During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues on the regional and international agenda, exchanged views and assessments, and also considered the prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation. An agreement was reached to further strengthen cooperation between the analytical centers of the two countries, including the joint use of expert and information materials, conducting research, interviews, internship programs and mutual visits.
The Kazakh diplomat informed the interlocutors in detail about the large-scale reforms implemented under the leadership of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as well as the current directions of the country's foreign policy, including a multi-vector approach and key international initiatives promoted by Astana.
Director Kangaspuro stressed the important role of Kazakhstan in strengthening dialogue between countries to find joint solutions to global and pressing challenges.
