Kazakhstan and North Macedonia Strengthen Cooperation in the Legal Sphere

Skopje, May 21, 2025 – The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to North Macedonia Satybaldy Burshakov met with the Minister of Interior of North Macedonia Panche Toshkovski.

During the meeting, the Ambassador informed Pavel Toshkovki about the political and economic reforms being carried out in our country, the priorities for the development of bilateral relations, and also put forward a number of initiative proposals.

Special attention was paid to the prospects for the development of cooperation in the law enforcement sphere, as well as the regulation of mutual trips of citizens of both countries in order to facilitate the visa regime. In this regard, an agreement was reached on the promotion of drafts of relevant bilateral agreements.

Toshkovki welcomed the opening of the Kazakh Embassy in Skopje, noting that this event will open up new prospects for cooperation between Kazakhstan and North Macedonia in the legal field.

The Minister expressed readiness to share best practices with Kazakh colleagues and generally to improve the professional training of law enforcement officers of the two countries.
