The Work Continues on Developing the Relations with the Regions of Egypt

Banha, May 18, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Egypt Askar Zhengis held a meeting with the Governor of Al-Qalyubia Ayman Attia, which is located in the north-eastern part of Egypt.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation aimed at boosting partnership between the countries. In particular, information was exchanged on ways to further strengthen trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian ties between the regions of Kazakhstan and the province of Al-Qalyubia.

Ambassador Zhengis thanked the Governor for his hospitality and provided information on the potential of the regions of Kazakhstan for co-operation with the province of Al-Qalyubia.

In addition, the Ambassador informed the Governor about tax, infrastructure and other benefits in the country, offered by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan to foreign investors and invited Egyptian businessmen to participate in Kazakhstani projects. It was also noted that the Embassy will provide all possible support in establishing the necessary contacts for doing business in Kazakhstan.

In turn, Governor Attya presented information about the achievements of the region headed by him in recent years and expressed willingness to co-operate with the regions of Kazakhstan in any areas of interest.

At the end of the conversation, the parties expressed readiness to consider the possibility of establishing twinning ties and the implementation of joint projects. They also agreed to use the full potential of both sides to strengthen mutually beneficial relations.
