Kazakhstan and North Macedonia Aim to Strengthen Economic Ties

Skopje, May 7, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to North Macedonia Satybaldy Burshakov met with the Minister of Economy and Labor of Macedonia Besar Durmishi.

During the meeting, the parties discussed political and economic reforms carried out in our country, the investment potential of Kazakhstan, and priority areas for the development of the economies of the two countries.

The Kazakh diplomat also informed about the upcoming events planned this year as part of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Burshakov briefed Minister Durmishi with the concept of the upcoming Astana International Forum (AIF) and invited him to take part in it.

Minister Durmishi highly appreciated the macroeconomic indicators achieved by Kazakhstan and expressed interest in further fruitful cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to continue close cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
