Prospects for Expanding the Partnership with Kazakhstan were Discussed with Representatives of the Swedish Company “Sandvik”

Stockholm, March 11, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Sweden Olzhas Suleimenov met with Vice President of “Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions” Division Dmitry Nikonenkov at the headquarters of Sandvik, the world’s leading supplier of technologies and equipment for the mining industry.

During the meeting, representatives of Sandvik presented the company’s products and solutions, as well as shared an analysis of key trends and prospects for the development of the mining and metallurgical complex (MMC), including market dynamics in Kazakhstan.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan noted the strategic importance of MMС for the country’s economy and stressed the importance of cooperation with leading international companies such as Sandvik. The Kazakh diplomat expressed interest in expanding the partnership with the Swedish company in the field of implementing advanced technologies in automation and developing sustainable solutions for the mining industry in Kazakhstan.
