Minister of Energy of North Macedonia was Invited to Participate in Astana International Forum

Skopje, February 26, 2025 – Kazakh Ambassador Satybaldy Burshakov met with the Minister of Energy, Mining and Minerals of North Macedonia Sanja Bozhinovska.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector, as well as considered the possibilities of investment cooperation.

Ambassador Burshakov emphasized the dynamic development of Kazakhstan’s energy sector, which combines the use of traditional and renewable energy sources.

The Ambassador invited Minister Bozhinovska to participate in the upcoming Astana International Forum in May 2025 and presented an official invitation on behalf of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin.

In addition, the Kazakh diplomat informed the North Macedonian Minister about the achievements of our country in the political and socio-economic spheres, the reforms carried out by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev aimed at ensuring sustainable development and improving the quality of life of citizens.

Minister Bozhinovska highly appreciated the macroeconomic indicators achieved by Kazakhstan, including in the energy sector, and expressed interest in further fruitful cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue close cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
