The Silk Road Culture Center was Established in Islamabad

Islamabad, December 10, 2024 – The Embassy of Kazakhstan to Pakistan participated in the grand launch ceremony of the Silk Road Culture Center, organized by renowned artist and former Minister of National Heritage and Culture of Pakistan, Jamal Shah.

The event was jointly organized with the embassies of Azerbaijan, Iran, China, Russia, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

During the event, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kistafin, delivered a speech, emphasizing the importance of cultural cooperation in strengthening relations among the countries of the region. He also outlined plans for enhancing cultural collaboration between Kazakhstan and Pakistan.

The head of the Kazakh diplomatic mission highlighted that the opening of the Center marked a significant step in fostering cultural and diplomatic ties among the countries of the region, reaffirming Kazakhstan’s full support for this initiative.

As part of the exhibition organized within the event, visitors had the opportunity to explore paintings, books, and photographs that showcased the rich cultural heritage, scenic landscapes, traditions, and customs of the Kazakh people.
