San Francisco, November 14, 2024 – Kazakhstan is demonstrating its commitment to supporting startups and entrepreneurs by hosting an inspiring session in San Francisco aimed at developing domestic companies seeking to enter the global market. This event, organized by the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in San Francisco in collaboration with the US Chamber of Commerce, aims to improve investment opportunities and create conditions for the success of new businesses in California’s dynamic environment.
Moderated by Consul General Nazira Nurbaeva, this insight-packed session featured panelists such as Douglas Wallace, director of the US Trade Service in San Francisco, Steve Osborne, managing member of the law firm Mintz, Darlene Chiu-Bryant, executive director of Global SF, and Matvey Kruglov of startup accelerator Berkeley SkyDeck.
In their presentations, the experts shared their recommendations, presented an in-depth analysis of the current state of the business climate in California, and also noted the opportunities that startups from Kazakhstan can take advantage of to develop their projects in the United States.
At the end of the event, Douglas Wallace spoke about the SelectUSA program, which helps foreign startups develop strategies for entering the US market.
