Ambassador of Kazakhstan Held Meeting with Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan

Islamabad, September 11, 2024 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan Yerzhan Kistafin met with the member of the National Assembly of Pakistan and the President of the Pakistan Muslim League (Zia-ul-Haq Shaheed) political party, Muhammad Ijaz-ul-Haq and the head of Data Agro Ltd, Faaiz Rahim Khan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas for the cooperation covering a wide range of areas, including agriculture, chemical industry, IT, banking, tourism, logistics and others.

The Ambassador spoke about the business climate and opportunities in Kazakhstan, as well as the institutional architecture designed to foster cooperation in trade, investment, and industry with foreign countries.

For his part, Muhammad Ijaz-ul-Haq expressed interest in developing multifaceted cooperation with Kazakhstan, noting the significant potential available.

Faaiz Rahim Khan spoke about the company’s activities, highlighting agriculture and the IT sector as priorities for the development of cooperation from the Kazakh side.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached on organizing a visit of Pakistani businessmen to Kazakhstan to explore the available opportunities.
