Ljubljana, June 12, 2023 – At the Presidential Palace in Ljubljana, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Slovenia concurrently Alibek Bakayev presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar.
During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed warm greetings of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and expressed the readiness of our country to further strengthen cooperation, trade-economic, transport and transit ties. Along with this, Ambassador Bakayev acquainted the President of Slovenia with political, socio-economic transformations in Kazakhstan, as well as the outcomes of the Astana International Forum.
In turn, President Pirc Musar expressed interest in the ongoing reforms and noted that Kazakhstan is a reliable partner of Slovenia, with whom Ljubljana is ready to develop close cooperation.
The President of Slovenia wished success in further strengthening bilateral relations and conveyed her best wishes to President Tokayev.
During his visit to Slovenia, Ambassador Bakayev held bilateral meetings at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, and paid a courtesy visit to the President of the National Assembly (Parliament) of Slovenia Klakočar Zupancic.
