Nur-Sultan, 1 July 2022 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a ceremonial meeting on the occasion of the Day of the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which was also attended by representatives of the Presidential Administration, Parliament, Government and other state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as retired diplomats.
The head of the Foreign Ministry, Mukhtar Tileuberdi, read out to the meeting participants the congratulatory message of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Addressing his colleagues, the Minister recalled that since gaining sovereignty Kazakhstan has been forming an independent course in foreign policy and developed the legal framework for the diplomatic service of a sovereign state. Among them a special place belongs to the Presidential Decree of 2 July 1992, which approved the Regulations "On the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," which marked the beginning of today’s holiday.
“Over all these years, Kazakhstan has built friendly and constructive relations with all states and organizations interested in the development of cooperation with our country. I am sure our diplomats will efficiently perform all tasks set by the Head of State, achieve new goals and objectives facing the foreign policy of New Kazakhstan, continuing the consistent strengthening of our nation’s reputation in the international arena," stressed the Minister.
Tileuberdi noted, in the current circumstances, the efforts of national diplomacy would also aim at supporting the profound political and economic reforms of President Tokayev, aimed at building the New Kazakhstan.
Congratulating on the anniversary, the Minister presented state awards, certificates of honor and gratitude from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ministerial and anniversary medals for active participation in the work of the diplomatic service of our state to the Ministry’s best performing employees, as well as a number of retired diplomats.
