Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan on the attacks on civilian infrastructure facilities in Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan strongly condemns the attacks by Houthi militants on civilian infrastructure facilities in Saudi Arabia, which resulted in human casualties.

Such attacks are unacceptable from a humanitarian standpoint and violate the norms of international law.

These actions undermine efforts to stabilize the situation in Yemen and hinder a political settlement of the conflict.

We call for an immediate cessation of the attacks and for the resolution of the crisis exclusively through political and diplomatic means.

Kazakhstan expresses solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and affirms its right to protect its sovereignty and security in accordance with the UN Charter.
