Preparations for the First Summit of the Central Asia–Republic of Korea Cooperation Forum Discussed in Tashkent

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alibek Bakayev took part in the second meeting of senior officials of the Central Asia–Republic of Korea Cooperation Forum.

Participants discussed the progress of preparations for the upcoming Summit and exchanged views on key issues of regional cooperation.

Deputy Minister Bakayev emphasized the particular importance of joint efforts in preparing for the Summit, which is intended to serve as an effective platform for promoting initiatives aimed at ensuring sustainable development, stability, and prosperity in the region.

In addition, the separate talks with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Chung Eui-hye were held.

The sides noted the positive momentum in bilateral relations and reaffirmed their interest in further expanding Kazakh-Korean partnership.

Following the talks, both sides confirmed their mutual readiness to strengthen the strategic partnership and implement joint projects.
