First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan received Ambassador of Canada

Astana, June 11, 2026 – First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Ashykbayev received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Republic of Kazakhstan Christopher Duggan.

The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Canada in the political, trade, economic and legal areas.

Special attention was paid to high-level contacts and issues of multilateral cooperation.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue efforts to expand bilateral interaction.
