Diplomats from OSCE Member States Discuss Prospects for Cooperation in Astana

A delegation of Permanent Representatives of United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Canada, France, the Netherlands, and the United States to the Organization for Security and
Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) paid a visit to Astana.

During the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan the parties discussed cooperation within the OSCE framework and prospects for further cooperation.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Issetov noted: “Kazakhstan’s cooperation with the OSCE is built on a solid foundation of mutual respect, trust, and a shared commitment to the values of security, sustainable development, and human rights”.

He further emphasized that Kazakhstan is ready to continue mutually beneficial engagement with the Organization’s member states across all three dimensions of the OSCE.

In turn, the foreign ambassadors noted that Kazakhstan is an important member of the Organization, and highlighted the high level of cooperation among the countries within the OSCE framework.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to advancing pragmatic and mutually acceptable cooperation.
