Kazakhstan and the UK Discuss Comprehensive Strengthening of Cooperation

Astana, September 22, 2025 – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Issetov met with Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Kazakhstan Sally Axworthy.

The parties discussed the state and prospects of further development of relations between Kazakhstan and the UK as well as upcoming events in trade and economy sector.

The discussion also highlighted opportunities to broaden cooperation in education, energy, transportation, AI and digital spheres, sustainable development and climate agenda.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their shared interest in maintaining dynamic bilateral and multilateral engagement.
