Prospects for Implementation of Investment Projects with HydroPlus were Discussed in Astana

Astana, September 17, 2025 – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantyrov held a meeting with the President of the French company HydroPlus, Franck Del Rey.

The meeting discussed opportunities for implementing investment projects, including the construction and modernization of hydraulic structures, as well as the introduction of modern engineering and environmentally sustainable solutions in Kazakhstan’s water management sector.

Deputy Minister Kuantyrov emphasized that Kazakhstan is interested in partnerships based on innovation and green sustainability, and believes that projects with HydroPlus can significantly improve the efficiency of water resource management and contribute to environmentally oriented development.

In turn, Franck Del Rey confirmed the French company’s intention for long-term cooperation, relying on proven technical solutions applied in international projects.

Following the meeting, a memorandum was signed between JSC “Kazakh Invest” and HydroPlus. The parties intend to jointly identify regions and areas for the implementation of infrastructure projects.
