Newly Appointed British Ambassador Presented Copies of Credentials

Astana, August 27, 2025 – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Issetov received the copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Kazakhstan Sally Axworthy.

Welcoming the British diplomat, Deputy Minister Issetov expressed his confidence that her mission will contribute to further strengthening of trusted relationship and the expansion of cooperation between Astana and London.

During the meeting the parties exchanged views on the prospects of development of Kazakhstan – UK relations. They discussed key areas of interaction in the political, trade, economic and investment spheres, as well as people-to-people ties. The meeting focused on advancing partnership in the areas of energy, education, and green technologies.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further maintaining a regular political dialogue and to strengthening cooperation, both bilaterally and within multilateral platforms.
