Accreditation of foreign journalists for the upcoming republican referendum on amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan on June 5, 2022

Dear representatives of foreign media,

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan inform you about the opening of accreditation of representatives of foreign media wishing to cover the republican referendum on amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which will be held on June 5, 2022.

Representatives of foreign media need to obtain permanent or temporary accreditation issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan to carry out journalistic activities in the country.

Please be advised that foreign media representatives may be accompanied by one translator upon presentation of their accreditation certificate.

Documents required for accreditation:

  1. A cover letter from an editor-in-chief requesting accreditation for the named journalist;
  2. A copy of a valid passport;
  3. A completed accreditation form ( attached);
  4. A 3x4 cm digital photo;
  5. A brief biography;
  6. An information about the media.

The application process for accreditation of foreign journalists closes on May 30, 2022.
