Ambassador Erzhan Kazykhanov gave remarks on existing potential in diversifying the economy of Kazakhstan by attracting investments and technologies to the agro-industrial complex at the Global Ag Connect Forum hosted online by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development and Valley Irrigation.
Ambassador highlighted the importance of maintaining food security, especially during the pandemic, and briefed participants about investment opportunities in the agricultural sector, focusing on regional markets. He also expressed appreciation to Nebraska based and all other American companies for their interest in doing agri business with Kazakhstan.
The forum speakers showed interest in expanding their global businesses underlining huge potential for cooperation with Kazakhstan in the field of meat processing, water management, irrigation, agricultural education, and new technologies.
Global Ag Connect, in collaboration and presented by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development and Valmont Irrigation, connects Nebraska and US agricultural companies with international businesses for future partnership and investment potential.
