The Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan Kairat Umarov presented his credentials to the Head of the UN Office in Vienna and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime Ghada Waly

Vienna, November 17, 2020 – The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to International Organizations in Vienna, Ambassador Kairat Umarov presented his credentials to the UN Deputy Secretary-General – Director-General of the UN Office in Vienna and Executive Director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Ghada Waly.

During the meeting, Madame Waly expressed satisfaction with the dynamic cooperation between Kazakhstan and the UNODC and thanked the Government of Kazakhstan for the constant support of the organization's activities.

For his part, the Ambassador said that Kazakhstan prioritizes cooperation with the UNODC, especially through the Central Asian Regional Information Coordination Center for combating illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors (CARICC).
